Most folks I know are using an old York A/C compressor, convert the existing A/C, or use CO2. I've run air tools off a stock YJ compressor.
      - 1988 XJ Base - I don't actually drive it. It just sits in the driveway while I throw parts at it.

      - 1990 XJ Laredo - Old and busted, but it'll get the job done!

      - 1996 XJ Sport - It's red. What else can I say?

      - 1997 XJ Country - My wife wanted something "pretty".

      - 1998 XJ Limited - Cheap and leathery.

I have recently switched to power tank for my airing up tire. We run 5 psi on the trail and air up to 30 for the road. The power tank takes 45 seconds to air up each tire. My arb took forever

WJ_Guy the cost is what gets most. The overall cost of a kit is not to bad $500. I have negotiated with the company that fills my tank and have locked in 20 dollars per fill. I can fill my tires 3 times 12 tires on the 10lbs tank. If I did not air down as low I could conserve some CO2 and get 16 tires per tank.
My reason for get the tank was time and a back up system for my air lockers.
Powertanks sell a mechanical switch kit to run your lockers. So I like the insurance of having a back up with how hard I am on the jeep
