Sweet! I might actually make a few more trips this year.
    - 1988 XJ Base - I don't actually drive it. It just sits in the driveway while I throw parts at it.

    - 1990 XJ Laredo - Old and busted, but it'll get the job done!

    - 1994 XJ Base 2-door - Where'd the other doors go?

    - 1996 XJ Sport - It's red. What else can I say?

    - 1997 XJ Country - My wife wanted something "pretty".

    - 1998 XJ Limited - Cheap and leathery.

Of course I’d love to make them all, but the main one that I missed last year is the Colorado trip. If we can get some dates on that trip soon would be great so I can get my wife to put time off request first of the year because she has a coworker that puts in for a week in July every year that screws us if she doesn’t get it in ASAP. I know it’s a long time out to decide so early but it would be great to know

Jeff Southern is working on that trip as we speak. We are hopeful we'll have those dates posted shortly.

Since I am overseeing the beach trip in June, almost made up my mind that I will take this opportunity to turn it into a PINS trip. I’ll let you all know as it gets closer about the

The Padre Island is something we’ve always wanted to do. As long as the dates aren’t prohibitive, we’re in!

Also, the Hot Springs trip went well and Josh and I enjoyed working with the “medium” group. If the club needs us for that in the future, we would be glad to help.

Don’t know. Jeff Southern will have to comment on that. Is there something you had in mind?

Not really, it's just Barnwell has become the default when trips fall through and it would be cool to try something else since there is still time to plan. Nothing to the extent of Colorado, just something other than Barnwell 😂

Should we try Catahoula again since it won't be monsoon season?

Planning on changing it to an Arkansas back roads trip. Getting it mapped out. Should be around 100 miles(70% gravel). Starting at the Damn north of Hot Springs. I have seen small crossover vehicles on most of the gravel roads, so minivans like WJ_Guy and sjlplat should be able to make it. Will be stopping at I believe it is 5 waterfalls. Trip will end near Langley Arkansas.

Are you talking about Brady MTN Dam? I was just over in that area this weekend and ran in to some closed gates. Hopefully none that will affect your route.

Looking at starting here(34.570775, -93.191160). Only one spot maybe gated but will not affect the trip.

RoRo72 Blakely MTN Dam. That's it. 98A was the gated one that threw off my potential route through there before the storms hit this weekend.

Can start from anywhere along the path I have and August is several months away. Will have to see closer to time. I was going to run it this coming weekend but waiting on parts. So hope to run it again in June.
